Characteristics of goob/bad presentations

In a good presentation, the presenter...
  • speaks clearly in a loud voice so the audience has no trouble hearing.
  • does not speak to fast, but not too slow either.
  • makes much eye contact with the audience.
  • uses hand gestures to help the audience understand.
  • has a smile on their face.

In a bad presentation, the presenter...

  • does not speak loudly enough for the audience to hear.
  • speaks to fast that the audience can not understand.
  • does not look at the audience. He/she looks at the ground or up the ceiling.
  • does not use emphasis and sounds monotone.

does not pause between sentences.

  • looks very nervous. Does not use hand gestures.
